About

Founded in 2000, we are a high school aged group of robotics enthusiasts!  Our team competes in the Botball robotic cirriculum which focuses on designing, building, and programming a pair of autonomous robots.  that compete annually in the Botball robots

robotics curriculum which focuses on designing, building and programming a pair of autonomous robots. Teams use a standardized kit of materials, document the process and then compete in a tournament in which the challenges change annually. All materials in the kits are exactly the same for every team around the world, so there are no unfair advantages

mentors and teammates dedicated to learn the intricate relationships between hardware and software in robotics.

Together, we aim to enhance and build collaboration, leadership, and technical skills among our teammates.

What We Do

The Dead Robot Society is a middle and high school robotics team based in Herndon, VA

Throughout the season we build and construct autonomous robots to compete at Botball Robotics competitions

Mission Statement

The Dead Robot Society LLC seeks to educate middle and high school students in the study of engineering skills in a non-school environment. We train the students to develop software and hardware using tools and processes typically found in professional engineering firms. We accomplish this by designing, building and coding tabletop robots that compete in regional and global competitions.
